KJ Harden, President of The Local Lender, has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Assisting first-time homebuyers, seasoned veterans, and everyone in between, KJ has helped thousands of families achieve their dream of homeownership.

Since the early 2000s, he has owned and helped multiple mortgage companies flourish, even through some of the toughest mortgage cycles. KJ attributes the high success rate to surrounding himself with talented teams. He also believes in helping those within the company reach their goals, having mentored, trained, and guided processors to become underwriters and operations managers.

On a personal note, KJ’s commitment to excellence in mortgage is surpassed only by his devotion to his family and faith. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has three very active kids. Additionally, KJ is a natural competitor. He honed those competitive skills on the hardwood floor, sinking shots for MTSU, where he earned a finance degree. Even though he may not have been the star athlete for the Blue Raiders, he always found ways to contribute and support his team. He continues to support and assist  The Local Lender team on the “mortgage court” today.
